The Lure of Distance – 50×60 cm
Everything worth reaching for seems to begin just beyond what we can touch.
Two trees stand close in the foreground, leaving only a narrow opening between them. My eye kept travelling through that gap – across the water and reeds, towards the pale field and the distant line of the horizon.
Perhaps distance becomes most tempting when it is only partly revealed. A glimpse is sometimes enough to make the mind continue far beyond the edge of a painting.

Care: Keep the painting out of direct sunlight and away from damp – oil on canvas will then hold its colour for decades.

Packaging: Packed in the studio in Vilnius in protective, moisture-resistant wrap and a sturdy double-walled box.
Delivery: Lithuania 3–5 business days, European Union 7–12, rest of the world 12–21. A tracking number is sent with every parcel.
Large works: Paintings above A2 are quoted individually – write to me before ordering and I will confirm the exact cost.
