About VIKTĖ

Hi, I'm Viktorija Starygina – a painter whose world oscillates between the fine tip of a graphite pencil and the expressive strokes of oil on canvas.
My paintings and drawings carry a mark rather than a name – the same one for years. Spoken aloud, it becomes
VIKTĖ.

In 2026 I was granted the Status of Art Creator.

  • My creative world

My work lives at the intersection of precision and feeling – the quiet focus of a graphite pencil meeting the expressive energy of oil on canvas. My creative tools are like good friends: each with their own character and mood. Light is what I keep returning to: the hour it arrives, the way it settles on water, what it leaves behind when it goes.

Before dedicating myself to fine art, I spent years as Art Director at Cosmopolitan Lithuania, where I developed a refined sense of visual composition and storytelling.

Alongside my own work, I take on a small number of commissions each year – portraits in graphite and coloured pencil, and painted projects developed together with the people they are made for.

Every painting and drawing carries the same mark.
